  • Skylar’s new teeth

Skylar’s advancing rapidly.  The first 4 teeth have arrived.  We expect world domination and complete subjugation of the human race shortly.

Until then, we’ll wrap up with getting the rest of our teeth.

  • D.C. Hiking

One Sunday morning we broke from usual convention of Susan forcing me to try some new random Church and we went for a hike.  The trail is on an island right off Georgetown Pike.

Very cool place because as you walk along one side you’re looking at the Georgetown waterfront and then as you round the bend you see get a straight shot down the Potomac and then finish with vistas of Arlington high-rises.

While I’m not devoutly spiritual or religious, I do think that Sunday mornings spent outdoors are the best way for our family to find inner sanctity.  (I write this mainly for Susan’s benefit).

  • Skylar in the Jumpy

Here are a few shots of Skylar in her jumpy:

  • Skylar visits Naples Fla

Skylar enjoyed Naples. She did what she usually does, which is to eat, sleep, play a bit, and drive around in her stroller checking out downtown and being all chic.

The weather was a bit cool, but nonetheless a great respite from the incredibly cold weather we were having in D.C. at the time.

  • Sporting the Hawk

I am sad to say that between Susan and the Nanny they have figured out how to prevent Skylar’s hair from running a muck. Each morning they put a white skull cap on her head for a couple hours to make sure it is properly matted down.

Needless to say I am disappointed. Here are the last good shots of her that I have where she’s sporting the hawk. Look at these shots and tell me they aren’t super cute and way more interesting than properly parted flat hair!

  • More Jumpy!

Oi, cranky mate, I can’t see for all the lush tropical vegetation gettin’ in my way. How bout we do some jumpy jump! Brilliant idea!

  • Love my crackers

Love my Crackers and my home boys too. Just repeating what Skylar was thinking (sometimes she’s so ghetto).

  • Jumpy Jump

Jumping in our jump-a-roo can only be made more fun by the sounds of elephants, monkeys, and miscellaneous jungle noises.

While traditionally I would opt for paper, car keys, or a clean sock for a play toy, I have to admit that Skylar loves the sounds of the wilderness here in the living room. American consumerism and capitalism at it’s finest!

  • Sitting up

Equilibrium, balance, stability – that stuff is for suckers. When you’re 7 months old you get to do what you want.

  • Camera is delicious

Susan: “Skylars’ hair is crazy this morning.”
Michael: “Skylars’ hair is crazy every morning.”
Susan: “I have an idea. Let’s put a stretch lacy thingy on her head.”
Michael: “Brilliant. Then it can look even crazier.”
Skylar: “Give me camera. Must eat.”
