Olivia is one month older than Skylar, and her parents just had a baby boy who will be one month behind Parker.

We put Skylar down for an afternoon nap and she didn’t want to go to sleep. I decided to bike to the Reston town center to play while Susan and Parker napped, but look what happened on the way there…

Embassy Day DC
Embassy day is one of my favorite attractions in D.C. It’s interesting not only to learn about other countries and cultures, but you also get to sample their food!
Last year we went to Germany, France, and some small country I don’t remember. This year we went to Ireland, Egypt, and Luxemburg. Ireland was my favorite because we got soda bread, Guinness, and some excellent cheese as well as some special treatment since we were traveling with such young kids. A bathroom and place to sit down is a rarity at these events and it was much appreciated.

Reston woods with Mason
One afternoon when Sumi and tow were in town we took Mason, Skylar, and Parker and went to a Reston event where they had a puppet show and lots of cool creatures to checkout. Mason got the opportunity to rifle through owl poo to find a mouse skull.
We made sure that Mason’s artifact made it home to Aunt Sumi 🙂
