We are officially 48 hours into being parents and Susan is doing great. Breast feeding is not as natural an experience as one may think – there isn’t much that we as humans do instinctively, but Susan has got the flow – now we need Skylar to catch on.
After Skylar was born she didn’t get a bath until about 4:00am. Prior to her bath I twisted the muck in her hair in beautiful little spikes. This was my first attempt at doing her hair 🙂 I think I can handle this whole girl thing…

Congratulations Susan and Michael. Glad everything went well. I know it is a huge relief to all to know that Michael can successfully style Skylar’s hair. I’m sure that was a big concern for everyone. 🙂

Congratulations Michael and Susam! Nene says Skylar is adorable! We just saw the cute pictures at the Baptist Home. PopPop says you could have at least supplied her with a little dress as the pictures were not very modest; she’ll be embarrassed one of these days when she’s dating a boy and he sees them 🙂

Skype is a Wonderful invention. PapaD and I were thrilled to see Skylar at home…..and see the nursery. I still have not figured out how to get the camera working on our end. Maybe by the time Skylar is 16!
