Parker voted FunBotics camp as his #1 camp for this summer. Skylar also enjoyed it, but FunBotics couldn’t dethrone Madiera from her #1 position. I wish I could take a week off work and attend FunBotics camp!
Here are some pics – apparently water slides are an important part of robotics camp (you can’t sit still all day).
We took an extended weekend to visit VA beach over the summer. Parker and mommy napped one afternoon while Skylar and I took a 2 seater out for a ride.
There was a weeklong art festival going on in front of our hotel and we got a Turkey leg at an awful street vendor from NJ. On the flip side, there was a sweets vendor who had ice cream that they made right in front of you.
The kids enjoyed playing with their inflatables. It was the end of the road for our boat, as the bottom of it became completely separated from the rest of the boat (although still inflated) by the end of the trip.
Susan and I enjoyed the really good craft food / beer scene that has slowly been building in the Va Beach area.
What a great concept to let kids choose how much “thrill” they want by allowing them to let go when they are ready. Not surprised that Skylar rode it to the top!
Skylar LOVED Daddy at 2 years old. Even her crying is so cute. Notice how Parker just likes to be on film: “Oh, you’re looking at me – big SMILE”, regardless of the chaos going on in the room.
