Bed time
Somehow my bedroom has become the gymnastics, sword fighting, tumble room. And we wonder why it’s hard to go to sleep some nights…

Sledding
We got a couple massive snow storms and decided to go sledding at Wolftrap. If you don’t have a sled prior to snow coming you can forget about buying one at the store – the closest sled for sale was over 80 miles away, so we improvised.
The mattress and gymnastics jumper are surprisingly fast on the snow!

Vienna Fall Hike
Timmey’s parents showed us a great hike really close to the house right off of Lawyers road. We did some hiking there one day after school. Parker played in the water and Skylar showed off her gymnastics skills while bravely shimmying across the bridge.

Skylar loves to choreograph and Parker loves sword fighting – isn’t it great when the kids get along?

Dogi
Doji / Dogi has had several names for starters: Brownie, Buddy, and Tipper. Mom and Dad liked Tipper because of his white tail and paws, but Parker and Skylar liked Brownie or Buddy. Finally, after 3 weeks of name changes we all settled on Doji – from the movie Isle of Dogs.

We randomly found a snake in the side yard. After playing with it I got the kids to get down and take a picture with Mr. slither.

Susan’s glory days
Susan went on the set of Law and Order and met some of the actors. Such are the perks of living in NYC.
