We just went in for Skylar’s 6 mo checkup last week. She had her standard round of vaccines, and I declined the flu shot. Why? I’ve received too much conflicting information about young babies and the benefits of the flu shot. And I think it’s better for her to develop the antibodies. Anyway, we declined.
We chatted with the Dr about various baby topics, including feedings, breastfeeding, etc. The usual.
Here are her stats:
Height: 26.25 in (50%)
Weight: 17 lb, 6oz (70%)
Head Circumference: 42.5 in (25-50%)
She didn’t cry with the shots – yeah! But she did cry when I left the room to go throw something away….sigh 🙂
