We visited Grandpa’s house first and opened more presents on the day after Christmas. There were 38 people there, including over a dozen kids! It was complete chaos. Later we went to Uncle Gillette’s and visited with Nanna and Poppa D.

Christmas in Culpeper
Santa came a day early in Reston and we had our Christmas on the 24th. Christmas day we went to Culpeper. First to see my great grandfather (Pop Pop) and then to my dad’s and finally to Gillette’s house. Whew – what a day! Lot’s of fun and presents. Thanksgiving – Michael
Saturday morning we went down to Culpeper to have lunch at Gillette’s. Laney looks so much like her mom – and has similar facial expressions and intonation!
After G’s we went to my Dad’s and had an early dinner. Sky got to play on an electric car. The batteries were a bit shot so daddy ended up pushing it about 1/2 the time. It’s good exercise after all those turkey calories.
