  • Christmas 2021

Santa brought us new ski gear ahead of Christmas Day this year because we went skiing at Snowshoe from the 19th to the 24th.

Parker got lots of nerf guns to add to his armory. Skylar got lots of arts and crafts projects to add to the house. Nana and Poppa D came and stayed with us and celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

  • Christmas decorations – 2021

Parker and Skylar made a window snowflake with glue, paint, and wood sticks and I put up a wreath, garland, and lights. Afterwards we decorated the tree with ornaments. It was a slow December day – nice to get some decorating done!

We listened to the Christmas song “Loot in the Hills” via Parker’s fortnite game.

  • Christmas Day

Christmas Day Skylar got a LOL Doll case with lots of LOL dolls which was so GR8 BTW because she wanted it ASAP IMHO G2G. They both got skateboards from Santa and Parker got his favorite Transformer toys.

  • Christmas Day

Santa came and brought tons of presents. No coal in the stockings – only candy! I sampled some Pez to confirm. Parker got a couple outfits that were a big hit – Darth Vader and a police outfit that he literally wore for 48 hours until we made him take it off.

Skylar got lots of cool science and drawing games, a Dora kit with cell phone, and they both got electric cars from Hadobogee.

We stretched it out and didn’t finish opening presents until after 2:00pm. Putting the cars together took a couple hours and we worked up quite a sweat considering it was 75 degrees and raining / humid on Christmas Day!

  • Dad’s basement – Christmas

A short video to capture the insanity of dad’s basement while the kids were opening presents. I literally couldn’t move.

  • Christmas in Culpeper

We visited Grandpa’s house first and opened more presents on the day after Christmas. There were 38 people there, including over a dozen kids! It was complete chaos. Later we went to Uncle Gillette’s and visited with Nanna and Poppa D.

  • Miracle on Safa Ct – Christmas

Mommy’s big gift this year was a movie by Skylar and Parker. We followed the ups and downs of the two young children as they try to find the right gift for their mom. Will they succeed, or will the Grinch steal Christmas… In the end, love triumphs all.
