My two babies
After Skylar entered the fray Taco suddenly became ‘my dog’. Can’t say that I didn’t foresee that happening 🙂
Regardless, here are picture of my two babies – Skylar and Taco. Susan’s two babies are myself and Skylar…

Taco sports the hawk
Susan had the excellent idea of giving Taco a summer haircut for 2010. Here you can see some pics of her sporting the hawk as well as some older shots I had that hadn’t been posted.

Cargadores de Taco
I don’t know where we get these outfits – honestly, I don’t ask. Pink sports shoes and matching outfit. I was laughing so hard that 2/3 of the footage had to be cut because I couldn’t keep the camera still. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Taco y nieve
Taco’s first snow happened to be a big one. It was the snowiest year that I can remember. In December we got 18 inches and about a month later we would get another 26 inches! Plus a few snowfalls inbetween.
Susan got this outfit from her sister – snowsuit with snow hat included. Taco thus far has been a fearless doggie, tackling snow, sand, water and whatever comes her way with a large curiosity and complete lack of fear.
I guess when you only weight 7 pounds you don’t have much to lose 🙂

Taco Halloween contest
We took Taco to Pet Smart for a Halloween contest. There were lots of dogs people tortured and forced to dress up. Ours was most definitely the cutest. Unfortunately we did not win – some 5 year old with a cat dressed as a cowboy got the grand prize. I smell a conspiracy!!

Taco meets Colonial Beach
We took a getaway this fall to Colonial Beach and stayed at a dog friendly B&B. Everyone hopped into the car and off we went one Friday evening.
After arriving at 10:00pm we had a glass of wine and settled in for the night, except Taco wasn’t so settled. After about 2 hours of pacing and barking, we put her in bed with us and shoved her head under the covers – where we were all finally able to get some sleep.
The next day we went for a bike ride. Taco sits in my bookbag and has become a pro at surfing my back. She had her first visit with sand and waves and thoroughly loved it – hopping around like a frog-dog and frollicking in the sand.
I was on the phone with NeNe and Pop Pop when I heard Susan yelling “look look!” and I turned around to see Taco splashing about neck deep in the 4 inch waves. Crazy dog!
No pics from the beach, but enjoy some shots we made from our room.

Taco el doggie
We got Taco when she was 8 weeks old. We adopted her as a rescue and she was in bad shape when we got her. After treatments by the vet and lots of love, Taco has come full circle and is now a happy and way too energetic doggie. Check out her pics below:
