Seemed like such a nice clown. Some things we’ll never know.

Soccer tumbling
Sometimes you got to roll around on the field to understand how the ball feels.

Letter to Santa
Parker was upset because he couldn’t write a letter to Santa and now he wouldn’t get his… socks????

Cox Farms
Nothing is better than Cox farms in the fall. They have slides, an alien maze, pumpkin bashing, and beautiful fall foliage.

Lexington childrens museum
On the way to Nana and Poppa D’s house we stopped at a children’s museum. Such a fun age to explore fun stuff!

G-Town Pirates
We took a Georgetown pirate boat ride one weekend. Sometimes you have to do the touresty things in your own backyard. There was a really fun water sprinkler that we ran through as well.

VA Beach
The kids really took to the ocean this year. There was no hesitation – they jumped right into the waves.
Parker had his ducky floaty and Skylar would swim and bob up and down until she got tired, and then hang off of daddy.
We spent 3 days at Va Beach, and then we spent a couple days at the ‘local’ beaches: ocean view beach, and Buckroe beach. Neither of the local beaches had waves like va beach, but it was interesting to see the locals and the non-touristy parts of Norfolk.
Two restaurants that we went to were memoriable: Hair of the dog – great drinks, and “The Barking Dog” – a hole in the wall with awesome Carolina BBQ, $2 craft beer served in a coozie, nacho fries, and awesome hot dogs with all kinds of toppings – right at a Marina.
