Christmas in Culpeper
Santa came a day early in Reston and we had our Christmas on the 24th. Christmas day we went to Culpeper. First to see my great grandfather (Pop Pop) and then to my dad’s and finally to Gillette’s house. Whew – what a day! Lot’s of fun and presents. I can’t imagine the conversations at the company that makes these suits:
Bob: It’s blue, fuzzy, and for 8-12 month old babies. What kind of ears do we put on it?
Steve: Rabbit. It’s gotta be rabbit ears. Everyone loves Rabbits.
Jane: Steve, you’re a moron – rabbit ears are so 1990’s. We have to go with panda ears. Panda’s are way more cuddly and fuzzy. Have you seen panda dogs?
Bob: Listen, we’ll cross rabbit ears with panda ears and everybody is happy.

Parker Baptism – Lexington
It was such a good time to spend a weekend with Nana and Poppa D! Skylar also got to play with her cousins for a little bit on Sunday before we had to jump on the road to coordinate with nap schedules. Taco also had a great time and probably started getting used to being an outdoor doggie. No herding cows on this trip though 🙂

Picnic at the Reston Town Center
A few months ago the weather was beautiful outside and not quite too hot yet. That seems so long ago. We went on a picnic outside at the Reston Town Center to take advantage of the beautiful weather and to get the kiddos (and mommy) outside. That’s Parker in the sling!

Happy Smiley Baby
Parker is SUCH a responsive baby! And he LOVES looking at people. He’s such a little charmer, he will smile and grin and coo at anyone who comes in close. I love it!!
