This is not actually her first time eating, but it’s one of the first times. She is wearing a stylish (not) plastic bib which she actually wears (you put her arms through it) to ensure maximum protection against baby food drool. On my usefulness/stylishness index (1-5) it rates about a 3. Who has time to put the baby into this when she is hungry? And it’s hard to wipe down and completely get that mildewy smell out. I’d rather just be able to throw it in the wash so I’ll stick with the good ol’ fashioned cloth bibs.
She was a riot – laughing, giggling, and hating – all at the same time. On the menu – green peas. Yummm. Her little funny toy of choice? A small blue elephant, with a trunk that she thinks is hilarious and funny enough, now I think is hilarious.
